Three Scenarios – Three Very Different Answers

Before you even email a vendor, figure out which bucket your order falls into. They’re not interchangeable.

Scenario A: High‑Volume, Simple Stamping (e.g., brackets, clips, 100k+ pieces/year)

If your parts are fairly flat, low‑precision (stamping in car manufacturing for non‑critical structural parts), you want a dedicated progressive die shop that can crank out millions per month.
